We are Amanda and Lincoln. After living hectic lives in San Francisco for 20 years, we decided to make a drastic life change and move across the world to buy and restore a petite chateau on 40 acres in the beautiful French countryside of Brittany, France

With our two daughters and pets in tow, we crossed the globe and settled into a new life as owners of Chateau de Lingourdy. Although we are American, Amanda and the girls have Italian citizenship (thanks to Grandpa Dominick) enabling us to live permanently in France

Lincoln, a numbers man and Amanda a chef, have become gardeners, plumbers, builders, cleaners, animal wranglers and so much more. We are passionate animal owners and are committed to rescuing those creatures in need. Stay tuned, there will probably be more
